“Thomas Hein is an extremely knowledgeable and empathetic practitioner who listens to his patient’s concerns, symptoms and current health conditions with compassion and understanding. He has a very deep understanding of the human body and what it needs to function properly. His treatments are tailored to your individual needs and he is not afraid to treat complex cases that involve multiple ailments and or chronic illnesses. I became a patient of Thomas’ when I was desperately looking for help for neuropathy in my feet due to complications with Lyme disease and co-infections. After many trips to the ER due to the excruciating pain that then landed me in a wheelchair for over two months, Thomas was the only practitioner willing to take me on and with a positive outlook for my future. He was incredibly kind, gentle, and understanding. He took his time when treating me and explained why things were happening and how he was going to work on my body to regain my abilities and independence again. He reassured me as many times as I needed and never made me feel as though my symptoms were “ in my head”. I consider myself very fortunate to have been referred to Thomas and am happy to report that I am well on my way to recovery, out of that wheelchair and regaining more and more of my independence everyday.“

“Dr. Luminsky is a trustworthy doctor who, with his vast knowledge and experience, can guide you toward the best solutions. I had been looking for a doctor like him for many years. His knowledge and approach combine both Western and Eastern medicine. Based on that perspective, his assessments were all clear and convincing to me. He pointed out not only the areas where I felt pain but also many underlying issues I wasn’t even aware of. I actually started to look forward to each treatment session.

To explain a bit more, my main concern was frozen shoulder, but he also discovered plantar fasciitis, pelvic tilt and twist, a locked hip, a locked scapula, a hunched back, and tightness in my neck and at the base of my skull. The first treatment included cupping therapy, sound therapy, breathing techniques, and manipulation of the bones and muscles. These treatments help enhance the body’s natural healing ability, so I’m excited to feel my body improving from now on.

I’ll update this review with my results later. Since stress and overthinking can make the sympathetic nervous system dominant and lead to physical discomfort, I’m also planning to cultivate better relaxation habits and put them into practice.
