“When I contacted Bol-Dan following the fall of a huge maple branch (almost 3 feet in diameter and over 30 feet long with many secondary branches) which collapsed at the end of 'a big ice storm hit my house (roof, eaves and west siding and also foundation including my wooden terrace and my cedar hedge), I immediately had a visit from Gaétan.

He came the same day and returned the next day to protect the window wells with wooden frames and plastic... (avoid an interior leak before scheduling final repairs).

Then we met to tour my basement and he took measurements, took notes and explained to me exactly what the repairs would entail before doing a full walkthrough of the property to identify any other potential drainage issues foundations.

I received a detailed written quote with fair pricing and a 20 year warranty.

Gaétan's team carried out the repairs in a week with his company's backhoe, the supervision and assistance of Christian and the help of two other workers from their company. They were very careful with my property. They also promised to return later to level the land in places that were in danger of settling, which was done.

As a retired civil engineer (former member of the OIQ in Montreal and before, in Europe, for civil engineering projects, bridges, drainages, etc.), I was very satisfied with their work (repair small cracks in the rear concrete block foundation walls), attaching a Platon membrane, adding rigid insulation, installing a new French drain with gravel, geotextile and a short special waterproof membrane above the soleplate to send the water directly into the new drain, plus a sump pit (with battery backup) inside my basement.

I will not hesitate to call on them in the future if the need arises. Gaétan always answered me the same day... Excellent company for repairs and improvement of foundation drainage.

Gaétan also sent me an excellent plumber to connect the sump pump to the exterior pipe.

This plumber (Jano Leblanc) was kind enough to come for free and at the end of a day's work to readjust the float arm in the sump.
