7 years ago my older brother & I were looking for a reliable barber as ours [18 years for my brother, 6 for me] was retiring for Family reasons to his home south east of Ottawa. The search seemed endless as we had 3 months notice. However, someone mentioned Sam. Well in we ventured. It has been excellent service ever since. He understood our different needs, especially my cranky double crown, and bushy eyebrows (in need of subtle trims). The shop is always neat, comfortable temperature, comfortable interaction between customers and Sam [when present]. Thanks Sam.

I go to The Clip Joint to see Sam and honestly, the guy performs miracles. I walk in looking like I just fought a windstorm and lost… and I walk out looking like I’ve got my life together.
My fade is always clean, perfectly blended, and sharp enough to make people ask where I went. Sam doesn’t rush the cut — he takes his time, checks every angle, and makes sure it’s dialed in before you leave the chair. The attention to detail is unreal. Even when I say “just the usual,” he somehow makes it better every time.
The shop has a solid vibe too — relaxed, professional, and no awkward silence. Just good energy and even better... read full review

Sam’s the best Barber in town. Previous barber retired and jumped around looking for a replacement for 4 years never being satisfied. Sam’s the barber I will be seeing for the rest of his career
