We hired Kozak Renovation (owner – Yuriy) to renovate the main floor of our house, including the kitchen, bathroom, and ceiling. At first, everything seemed fine, but recently we discovered something shocking: both the bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans were not vented outside at all — they were simply dumped into the attic.

As a result, mold started to grow inside our roof structure, and our children, who suffer from allergies, began having serious allergic reactions. When we called a professional mold inspection service, they confirmed that the ventilation was installed incorrectly and did not meet Ontario Building Code requirements.
