“I saw Christian over the course of 6-8 weeks for treatments for back pain around my left ribs. I had been dealing with some complicated health issues for nearly 2 years, which had a 'mechanical' component. Long story short, in October 2023 I had a collapsed lung from chronic autoimmune issues, but by March 2024 this collapsed lung had been resolved. This was confirmed through a CT scan, but the pain was unresolved. After nearly a year of every test you can imagine, my doctor finally determined that there wasn't anything else 'internally' going on, however if I was still in pain, it was likely a musculoskeletal issue and that I should seek out an osteopath. I guess the collapsed lung situation lasted SO long that my ribs/tendons/muscles had gotten 'stuck' in the wrong position, and was causing me difficulty breathing/moving...it was so so painful. Working with Christian finally helped. I remember one turning point in particular, he was applying gentle pressure under my arm/around my ribs, and I finally felt the pain lift. I wanted to cry from relief!! I said so during the appointment because I felt embarrassed that I wanted to cry haha. The pain only continued to get better as I continued with the treatments. 1-2 or two session after the initial 'relief', I came in at the start of our session inflamed/still feeling some pain, but by the end of session the pain had completely lifted and I was able to breathe normally. It was unbelievable. I am now completely pain free, and I cannot believe it. I am still in shock at how the most gentle/non-intrusive treatment can have such a huge impact when nothing else was helping. Osteopathy is wizardry and I mean that in the best way. If you have been on the fence about giving it a try, take this as your sign, and ask for Christian in particular. He was very patient with me and my unique case, and very informative/collaborative.
