I had an extremely upsetting experience at Speedy Auto Service. My car was stuck in the middle of the road and I went there looking for help. The woman at the front desk refused to assist me in any way and showed zero concern for my safety or the seriousness of the situation. The complete lack of empathy and professionalism was shocking, especially from a business that claims to provide automotive service and help people in emergencies. I was left to figure it out on my own while visibly distressed.
I would never recommend this location to anyone. If you need help, do not expect compassion or basic customer service.

I’ve been Dan’s customer for years… Recently I brought my car for service there and unfortunate accident happened, another customer hit my car with his own vehicle… Dan took care of me and my car without any questions. His staff informed me about the incident immediately and took care of everything. Car was quickly repaired entirely to my satisfaction and Dan threw in a free oil for good measure. If you’re looking for an host mechanic, a business that prides themselves in great customer service, look no further 👍🏻

These people do not know what they are doing. Three separate times they claimed they knew what the issue was, attempted to repair it and it ended up being something completely different. Three times they did this!!! Clearly from the reviews I’m not the only one with this experience. You are seriously better off doing the repair at home even if you have no knowledge on car repairs … I think you would have more success than bringing your car to this joke of a mechanic shop. update- took my car somewhere else just to confirm these people are a joke especially the girl that works there. She is the one that attempted to fix my car but clearly has no idea what she is doing. I suggest going back to sweeping the shop floors sweetie

I have been dealing with Dan and and his crew for well over 30yrs now. And although I don’t live in Burlington anymore I don’t trust anyone else with my Challenger. Best service, Best prices and hands down the most honest and reliable guy’s to have work on your car! In a world where it’s all about taking your money , these guys really care about you. Took my civic in for a quick oil change, as I was driving on the highway few hours after heard a big pop, the mechanic didn’t tighten the oil nut causing it to blow off, pulled over to see all my oil pissing out of my car. How do you mess up an easy oil change? Won’t be coming back.
The owner, Dan was very helpful to compensate with the issue. Constantly apologizing and paying for any needed services or inconveniences. Issue still happened, but was handled greatly 👍
