“We met with two Contractors before we found Shane on a Google search. The two Contractors we met before Shane with Bankside Contracting, one provided a proposal which was way more than our budget while the other said he was very busy and would take a year to start the work and they did not provide a proposal even though they promised they would provide one in a week or two.
Shane was the third Contractor we met with. Shane was very quick to review our home and provide a proposal and with a startup time of about 3 months. His proposal was reasonable and within our budget. He also provides a plumber and electrician if required.
Shane is very knowledgeable when it comes to renovations. Some of the work he provided was a kitchen renovation which included new cabinets, porcelain back splash quartz counter top, new vinyl flooring. To stay on budget we tried to get as much as possible at stores like HD. The counter top and backslash were bought at a specialty stores which Shane recommended and it paid off so that we could received a beautiful counter top and backslash. Also, to note Shane brought us to the specialty stores to help us pick the right materials.
We also renovated our bathroom and laundry room. This included a new tub, shower doors and porcelain tiles. The flooring was also replaced. In the laundry room Shane installed customs cabinets which he built and installed.
For the rest of the home, living, dining, bed rooms we replaced all with the same luxury vinyl, new shaker style doors with custom trimming again built and installed by Shane. All windows and floor boarding where also replaced with shaker style trimming.
Shane is a very quick worker but always does a complete job to your liking. He is very easy to talk with and will answer any questions you may have. He also can provide better ideas when your not sure on what you want or how to have it done.
