We have used this vet for the past 4.5 years. We have always seen Dr.Roach with our dog but rarely our cat. This week our cat was in an accident and had to have her leg amputated. Dr.Roach's kindness and compassion that she has offered not just me but our cat as well puts me to tears, the reality of the situation was we get the amputation or we would have to euthanize. We cannot say enough amazing things about Yukon West Animal Hospital. Our dog Stormi needed emergency surgery for pyometra, and we were absolutely terrified. From the moment we walked in, they treated us with compassion, kindness, and zero judgment.
They were willing to work with us financially, which truly saved our dog’s life. The staff kept us updated every step of the way, answered every question we had, and made sure we felt informed and supported through such a scary situation.
They took incredible care of Stormi, and she is now home safe and recovering beautifully. You can tell they genuinely care about both the animals and the families who love them.

Update: Mandy, the office manager, called me back the very next morning to apologize for the situation and was so very kind! I also had to call again as my new puppy was having an issue and they got her some medication and moved up her next appointment. I feel they have gone above and beyond making this situation right and really caring for my puppies and cats. Thank you!
