I needed to bring my cello on an international flight and sought to acquire a BAM flight cover within a week. On BAM's website, I was directed to purchase from a local seller, where Tulsa Strings was listed. I called the shop and spoke to Allison a few times (always polite, informative, and in good humor) about the timeline and cost for getting one through the shop.

In an act of what I deem utmost integrity, Allison recommended I contact BAM directly to get quotes from them, as the shop, understandably, charged a markup. Returning to BAM's website, I found a customer service email address, and eventually learned I was unable to see a direct purchase option because of my web browser (thanks, technology). Indeed, a direct purchase from BAM resulted in non-trivial savings.

There are more elements to the story about getting my instrument from point A to point B on an airplane. The first takeaway is that airlines are terrible. The more important takeaway from this review, however, is that Allison is awesome and anyone reading this should absolutely work with her for your musical needs.“
