Stopped by Lakeside Barbershop in Oklahoma City and had a great experience. The shop has a clean, classic barbershop vibe, and the staff are welcoming and easy to talk to. My barber really took the time to understand what I wanted and delivered a sharp, precise cut. Attention to detail was impressive.
Been hitting the early bird specials around town and figured why not try the same approach with haircuts. Walked into Lakeside around eleven thirty and turns out lunchtime is ideal timing. No crowds like you get after work hours. Derek was free right away and man does that guy know his way around clippers. Asked for a trim that would look sharp but not too fancy for church tomorrow. He took his sweet time getting the back just right and really listened when I explained how my hair grows weird on one side. The whole cut came out exactly how I pictured it. I have been coming to Lakeside since 2012, and I have never been more satisfied with a haircut than I have with the ones that I have gotten there. Nick has been doing a wonderful job for the past 14 years cutting my hair, and I cannot sing his praises enough.
