One of the many ways God has blessed me is by leading me to Jack Hwang's Martial Arts. I was doing really well last year until about August. Due to working more and becoming more involved with the church, I became stretched very thin. I had to make a decision, and my livelihood and my faith had to come before my newfound passion. I took a hiatus from Taekwondo until the beginning of the new year.
It was difficult coming back and seeing that all of my peers had advanced. You build comradery in Taekwondo, just like any sport, so it’s difficult when you feel left behind. Despite that, I was determined to get myself ready for the next test on Jan 29th.
