Thankful for great, compassionate care in our small town. I have gone to Dr. Faulkner for years, but today my 5 year old (who has never seen her) injured his eye. They were so kind and offered to see my son immediately. He was quickly seen, examined and Dr. Faulkner sent in a prescription. My son was at ease the whole time with Dr. Faulkner and her staff. I am grateful for their compassion for a concerned mother and little boy in pain.

This is not on the DR for making the experience bad. Front desk will cancel your appointment while you’re in line as you miss the grace period. Not mine, but my partners. I go somewhere I trust and they’re kind. She just got referred here. There’s a lack of accountability when it comes to explaining things in a way the customer feels attacked for even showing up. I’ve had glasses since I was 4-5 yo and never had to deal with reception that lacked customer service like this. As a former customer service employee and office manager, they could do better. There’s not much to do if your computer automatically cancels for you anyway. That doesn’t sound real. You can surely multitask the phone call and the person in front of you if you can cancel in front of their face while on the phone. Why have anyone up there if the tech does it for you, at least the computer will be nice. Walk in and walk out like they want you to. Triad is the way to go and I’ll take my prescription somewhere for a better price anyway.

i have an extremely high script and was told by my last eye doctor that i couldnt have contacts because there wasnt a brand that carried my script. dr faulkner said that it would take some digging probably some adjustments but that she believed that she could get me fitted for a pair. the girls in the glasses area were super helpful on helping find a pair of glasses that would work with my script and still look cute as well. my kids go here and they love it too!!

I am rewriting this review because it appears the other one was taken down. I am also not one to write reviews. But I feel others need to be warned about the rudeness of her staff. I want to say I have no issue with Dr. Faulkner, she is professional and a great Doc. Her staff absolutely sucks. I came in 2 weeks ago for my annual. There was an issue with the prescription and they didn’t demand payment at the time services were delivered. They told me they would order my glasses and I could pay when I pick them up. That was a lie. I called last week and they assured me that they ordered the glasses and I could pay when I pick them up. That also was a lie. Today I called to check in again and they told me they ordered them, but that too was a lie. After pressing they said that I would need to pay a deposit of 50% down before ordering them. I have never had issues paying any of my bills, and have never had any issues paying in the 5 years I have been with her practice. I informed the front attendant that was different than what I have been told and she told me. “Gee you look like you probably need to wait to you get paid to pay them” I have never been treated so disrespectful. The racial undertones of suggesting that I cannot pay was deeply offensive. I then get a signed letter in the mail telling me I should find another doctor.

Most of the staff here are so rude, especially the older lady that answers the phone. I understand now why so many advised me not to come here, but we did out of convenience of location. Will definitely never go there again. I guess it speaks volumes that there’s only single digit positive reviews, it’s probably the staff giving themselves the only good ratings they have.

I have had good experiences here since 2021 until recently. When I called today I explained my situation, I said I think my insurance is through VSP ( yes, I should have known exactly before I was trying to pull it up. ) but was met with the remark "Well, there's a difference between knowing and thinking." I understand you deal with the public daily, but that is no reason to have comments like that. When I said, it's on my account she responded with "well I'm not looking at your account." I'm fully aware you weren't. It costs you absolutely nothing to be nice. You work in customer service, the way I was spoken to was uncalled for.

Everyone in that office was amazing! This was my son's first eye appointment and they treated him with professional, caring service. They were very knowledgeable and explained everything to use. Highly recommend!!!
