About JCPenney
JCPenney is a large retailer offering a variety of products, from clothing and footwear to jewelry and beauty items. The store is generally clean and visually appealing, with a new beauty concept showcasing both popular and Black-owned brands. Shoppers can find national brands like Adidas and Levi's, as well as private labels. Customer service varies within the store. The staff at the online order pick-up counter receive high praise, while the general in-store service is considered acceptable. However, there have been issues with sales associates pushing credit cards and struggling to correctly process purchases. Despite these challenges, the store offers competitive deals, particularly in the jewelry department. In summary, JCPenney provides a wide range of products and competitive pricing, but customer experiences can differ. The store could improve in some areas of customer service, but the pick-up counter staff and the beauty concept are commended as highlights.

Then tried to give me a discount if I signed up for a credit card. Very seldom use credit.Manager came and over road the register, never offered an apology for making all...read full review
I found a good selection for Christmas gifts, the sales were great, I also had a coupon. Charlotte, she was older, was great. She was the warmest cashier I had in awhile. People are usually in a race at the checkout, but I haven't seen customer service like that in years. Bit nostalgic. Takes me back to where people actually engaged with you, and actually took care of you. And I am only 41. Bravo Charlotte!
