“I have been going to Jake Bixel for hair cuts and color for the past 20 years. Any woman will tell you that's a long time to be loyal to one hairdresser! Why haven't I tried another hairdresser/salon in 20 years? Because there has been no need. Jake is a highly skilled professional who is kind and welcoming to all who enter his salon, whether it is a client or delivery person. He listens to his clients and asks if you have experienced any hair challenges since your last appointment. I think the biggest compliment that I can give is that a friend's mother said that if I hadn't told her I get my hair colored, she would have never known because it looks so natural. “About two months ago, my daughter cut her own hair & (not sure who) fixed it to the best of their ability for free!

Since they were so kind to my very distraught fiancée and daughter, I figured I’d go in for a haircut myself. They first made a fresh cup of coffee for me while I waited for my chair to open. Then Sarah cut my hair absolutely perfectly and made it look better than it ever has. I have an awkwardly placed cowlick on the back of my head and very thin/fine hair, and she worked with it to make it look absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for a more fun & kind stylist.

I’ve gone to family, friends, and various quick cut shops in the past and have always come out with an okay haircut (sometimes much worse than okay). This was easily the best experience I’ve had when getting a haircut.

“Perfection! Since moving to the Mentor area I have failed to find a salon I wanted to return to. They’ve been just ok, awful, or a complete disaster. That’s officially changed! This is my new nail salon! Both my kid and I got a mani and I got a pedicure. We’re both so happy with how it looks! “Took our 19 month old son for his first haircut with Kate S. She was perfect. Very patient while he warmed up to her and she tried a bunch of little tricks to get him to be comfortable. He sat through the whole haircut - which she did by hand with scissors not clippers- and barely fussed. The end result was so well done. We really appreciated how she took the time to understand his hair texture and created a perfect cut to keep some of his natural curls. They also gave a cute little certificate with an envelope of some of his curls. Overall was an amazing experience and we will be back!“
