This group of Midwives is stellar. I received excellent care throughout my pregnancy and birth. I had a very long, unmedicated labor and the midwives at the hospital supported me every step of the way. At any other hospital I would have ended up with a C-section due to how long the 2nd stage of labor was taking. The midwives and nurses allowed me to keep pushing as long as baby and I were safe to continue. I am thrilled with my experience and plan to return to this practice and hospital for future pregnancies!

Like many other offices in the UH network, appointment times are never accurate. My wife has had to leave before being seen as she was not called back for her appointment after waiting 40 minutes in the waiting room. We have had similar experiences at Rainbow Pediatrics and it just seems to be a theme with UH that your appointment time is, at best, an estimate. Making appointments months in advance only to your personal time not appreciated is incredibly frustrating.

The staff here is wonderful and treated me with such kindness during pregnancy and postpartum. I always felt comfortable at the office, which is a major win for a doctor's office. The midwives and doctor's are a great group of providers- knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful. I would definitely recommend!!

All the women at the office are so kind and intelligent. They run a tight ship and I’m happy to be here for my pregnancy.

I recently just gave birth to my first baby. I was in full on panic mode when I found out we were expecting. UH Westshore Women's Health instantly put my worries to ease. Every person I dealt with at the office was extremely caring and professional. They have someone on call at all hours to answer worrisome questions. They are busy and try to get you in and out as quick as possible. This is nice because who likes waiting around at the doctors office? Especially during a pandemic. As fast as they are I still felt like they took all the time needed to answer any quedtions or concerns. I didn't feel like just a number there. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Brandwie and Dr. Kerr. I also saw a couple of midwives for follow up appointments and thought they were top notch as well. The location and parking are really easy to access.

I have been with these amazing ladies for close to 12 years, and have always been heard, respected and validated every visit. They offer traditional GYN services, water births, home births and everything in between. Mary Jo was my midwife at a prior practice and migrated to Westshore Primary, she is an excellent fit amongst these ladies. I feel lucky to have had my 4 babies delivered by these women!

2015 the experience was fantastic. I had a very clear birth plan and everyone took the time to familiarize themselves with it and were very respectful of my perspective while simultaneously providing advice. Breastfeeding support was never great.Fast forward to 2020 to my second born. Staff seemed inept during labor. They messed up my IV, sat at the computer screen their entire shift instead of supporting me, knew nothing about my birth plan (indicated by several things including trying to wipe the vernix off my baby), came into our dark room post-labor to wish us congratulations without asking or seeing the obvious (hello- clearly trying to catch some few and far between zzzzzs), felt compelled to test my vitals way too often during labor including mid- contraction ?????, forgot to provide a specific shot after labor and had the audacity to call me at home with a newborn to ask me to schlep back from the east side to get it…just to name a few examples.Very fortunate to have had my doula and husband to rely on for support. I hope this feedback will help them right the ship and once again become an option for expectant parents with their own safe and holistic birth plans.

UH Midwife group was amazing! We had a wonderful experience with all of the staff our entire pregnancy. (Collen B., Maureen and Aaron were our primary).Aaron was on call during the birth of our baby and so supportive the entire time. Maureen was not even on call and she stopped in the room to say hello and check on us and the baby.We had a fantastic experience and so happy we chose them!
