Like other recent reviewers, I experienced poor management and concerning safety practices at this location. My husband booked a $60, one-hour massage with a female therapist. Upon arrival, I was brought to a room by a male therapist who expected me to undress, despite the original request. I expressed discomfort and asked for a female therapist, although the manager, Jenna, was dismissive and argumentative. She insisted on charging a $40 same-day cancellation fee, providing no reasonable accommodations.
It is disheartening that a woman raising a safety concern is met with hostility rather than support. I’m also grateful I spoke up as another reviewer mentioned his wife felt assaulted by her male therapist at this same location, which only reinforces the need for this business to take client concerns seriously. I would strongly caution others to consider these issues before booking.

I previously held a yearly massage package and genuinely enjoyed the experience. During my pregnancy, I had to cancel my membership, as I could no longer lie comfortably on my side. I was assured that my remaining credits could be used after giving birth.
Recently, I attempted to follow up on those credits but received no response after multiple voicemails. Thanks to the helpful team at the Avon location, I was finally connected with someone at Westlake, only to be told my paid credits had “expired” due to inactivity within two months of cancellation—something that was never communicated to me.
Now, I'm being told I must purchase another annual membership to redeem the credits I already paid for. The Westlake location has been consistently unresponsive and dismissive. As a new mom who could truly benefit from these services, I won’t be returning.

Kim gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. Past massages at other establishments have either been too firm and painful the whole time or very light and not worthwhile. She was somehow very firm while keeping it painless and relaxing. I live out of state but plan on coming back to see Iim whenever I’m in town.

Quality light massage, as advertised, and perfect for someone with a high stress job who simply needed a mid day 90 minutes of relaxation.
Attentive staff who listened and provided action for any and all of my inquires. This type of staff is hard to find these days and the Westlake ME exceeded my expectations.

Truly the worst massage experience I’ve ever had.. the actual service was terrible, and after repeating several times that I wanted a silent session as I was in dire need of one hour to relax, the employee wouldn’t stop talking about themselves and their life the ENTIRE time even after I stopped responding.. she also referred to the place as the “McDonald’s of massage” waste of my time and money, I will never even consider returning
