My husband took our 4yo to Dan’s Barber for a haircut today. My son has been afraid of haircuts and we’ve had a hard time getting it done. We’ve been to several places and end up leaving in tears without a haircut. Jeremy cut his hair today and got the job done. They were kind and accommodating. We are so thankful to have found a place where he feels comfortable!Service: Haircut

The guys always take the time to do a good job. Pleasant conversation is always welcome. The tv is generally tuned to nostalgia type shows which is a welcome change from 24 hour news. If you like a barber shop that is not pretentious and trying to upsell you hair care products and trying to get you to buy the latest and greatest brush , this is your kind of barber shop. I've been going to Dan for haircuts for well over 20 years. I started with him When he was in Hanby Square; I followed him when he moved to Uptown; and now he's at Schrock and Cleveland Ave (the far southwest corner of town). Dan's been worth following. He and his other barbers are old school - no appointments accepted/walk-in only/old style barber shop. But Dan and Jeremy are on top of their game and do great haircuts.
