Regency Hospital - Cleveland East

My father is a current patient at Regency, and the staff is extremely nice. Everyone is always available for any requests. Diamond the reception is so helpful and pleasant, she knows everyone that comes through the door. She even noticed when I hadn't visited in a few days, which was surprising. Other facilities don't even know your name, or where your going. Joi who I believe is the nursing assistant was a Joy to have in my father's room for the week I encountered her. This will be an honest review.
So thus far I would say don’t be admitted on the weekend. Like all hospitals most areas like pt, dietary, etc. are not open until Monday. Staff is extremely busy but very nice and helpful.
Most nurses and aides are excellent but overwhelmed by short staff.
Nursing and aide care provide far exceeds that of a regular hospital care. Except when patient load increases then they are short staffed. Some days I don’t know what happened but nurses and aides were taking very long to respond. At times waiting twenty five minutes to get bathroom assistance. Regency Hospital Cleveland East is a wonderful place. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and caring. The nursing staff and aides are very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make you comfortable. The hospital is very clean and well kept. Housekeeping does a very thorough and wonderful job. The therapists are exceptional and make therapy fun. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone who needs it.
