“We had a flood we called Roto Rooter to come in and give us a free estimate. At first, the person that came in was disingenuous and told us that everything was dry and did not use a moisture meter and did not do his job. After we called the management and told him what went on, they sent out several people. Ultimately, they sent us Their best specialist his name is Ben and he stayed with us for weeks doing whatever he had to do to dry out our sub floor and our kitchen. He was sincere and did everything he could to spare us from a nightmare of having to rip up our floor. He did whatever it took and came on Saturdays , evenings, etc. he went and did extra things for us.
He even put our floorboard back that he had lifted and he also even put some insulation that we had back up in our basement so my husband would not have to climb the ladder. Ben is a gem and Roto Rooter is lucky to have him, but the management immediately took care of the whole problem and did not at all argue about what their employee did. They stand by you and you can trust them. I would use them again just not that original employee that came. I have his name written down.“

“Plumbtite fitted my request in, showed up and fixed my gas line all on the same day. Professionalism was good, but pricing was a bit steep and you don’t learn that until they arrive. A $99 diagnostic fee will be charged on top of the fix cost which I believe is unnecessary but is policy (I think the $99 should go towards the fix). When dealing with gas lines you want the work done well and right (which they did), and that is what matters most.“

“I had Ed Rike Heating and Air install a new two phase heat pump. The initial installation left a lot to be desired. After the system was initially turned on they did a quick cooling check and then hurried off to another appointment. Within an hour the temperature in the house went up three degrees. When I checked the condenser unit outside it was spewing water and coolant. I called and later that evening another technician showed up and stated the outside unit (brand new) had a fractured valve and shut down the system. This was a Friday evening and we were told they would try to source another new unit and contact me on Monday. We spent the weekend without cooling. Monday morning they contacted me and stated they had sourced a new replacement unit. After removal and installation they turned on the new unit. Initially it appeared to cool but after 15 minutes the unit switched over to heat. When I pointed this out they trouble shot the unit and found the thermostat had been reversed wired and when the unit switched to stage two it reverted to heating. Thankfully, this time they stayed around long enough to correct the problem. They stayed to verify the system operation and it has been cooling fine ever since. While the service team was pleasant and stood behind the new warranty, overall it was not a reassuring experience. I felt they rushed out before ensuring the system worked the first time. While I am aware that a potential manufactures faulty unit is not entirely their fault, they didn’t stay around long enough to find the valve or thermostat problems.“

“Blair Heating is a great company. The offer a great product at a wonderful value. Seven years ago we purchased a new Trane furnace and AC. It was installed professionlly in two days. Since I purchased a service agreement, it is serviced twice a year.

Yesterday, the AC stopped working. I called them this morning which was a Sunday. They came out and I was expecting to pay a $125 service fee. The technician replaced a capacitor and it was working again. However since the AC unit was serviced within the last 30 days, he waived the service fee and it was only $70.

I'll be a Blair customer for life!“
