My father passed away just one week ago. From our initial contact with Walker Funeral home until dad was laid to rest, the staff at Walker was excellent through the entire process. Ryan was compassionate and patient through our difficult transition and it meant the world to us. He gave clarity to every detail that we didn’t fully understand and he made sure that we had plenty of time to make decisions as a family. Most of all, you know from the moment you first speak to him, that he cares about what he does and the people he serves. From floral details to the printing of the program, everything was organized, ordered and prepared in-house. We met staff from different depts. that served our family and they were courteous and kind. They took care of dad with grace and dignity and he was as handsome as we all remembered! They cared for our family in the same manner. They were accommodating of our large family, both for the visitation and the funeral. The facility is beautifully decorated and equally comfortable. The staff was available at all times to assist and and we knew we were in capable hands. They went above and beyond to give dad a wonderful celebration of life service and Veteran’s burial.
