Based on the reviews, the Eleanor N. Dana Cancer Center has staff who are the most wonderful, caring, and understanding. The team is very helpful and shows they care. During one patient's radiation treatment, a doctor’s expertise made them feel they were getting the BEST treatment. They appreciated the weekly updates and could get their questions answered. Another patient sought a consultation for oncology genetic testing and was pleased with the information learned in the counseling consult. It truly felt like speaking to a doctor who had their best interest at heart. The doctor explained everything thoroughly from pricing and scheduling options to giving as much info as possible about other options for the genetic testing. The doctor also took the time to explain the approach of the scientific research statistic side of things and went in-depth about how the federal GINA law could impact things. The check-in employee was incredibly helpful and friendly. From the registration to the techs, they were wonderful, polite, and helpful.
Staff here are the most wonderful, caring, and understanding of all the people I have ever had the pleasure to meet in my life. I sought a consultation for oncology genetic testing and while my family history didn't quite qualify me to submit everything through insurance, I couldn't be more pleased with the information I learned in my counseling consult with Dr. Hamouda.
For the first time in a while with my diagnostic journey of other rare diseases and chronic illness, that it truly felt like I was speaking to a Dr who had my best interest at heart.
