About ProMedica Physicians Eye Care - Sylvania
ProMedica Physicians Eye Care is a highly recommended eye care provider. The staff are amazing and welcoming, and the nurse and doctor were incredible with a 6-year-old patient, ensuring her comfort during the first eye exam. However, the process of ordering glasses has been frustrating due to technical issues with the insurance site. Overall, the clinic offers great doctors, a convenient location, and a clean environment, though reaching them by phone can be challenging.
I have been going here for years and have never had any problems until this year. The doctors tend to be inconsistent when it concerns keeping already scheduled appointments. I've had my scheduled appointment canceled by the provider 2 times, months apart(sometimes it take months to get a new appt.). Also the wait times and how congested their offices then to be lately is a hassle and you have to wait longer, no matter if you have an appointment or not. I have eye issues and can't afford an inconsistent doctor. I will be looking for a new place due these issues combined with the distance
I always have great experience with staff getting my eye exam but this time it took a month and a half for my contacts to come in which was ridiculously long to wait but other than that complaint it over all was good excellent service
Called to get an appointment closer to home, before giving my DOB and name was told are booking July/Aug timeframe. Once they had my info they said because I had been seen by a ProMedica location in 2023 I would have to wait until the end of October for a visit. No thanks, there are plenty of other reputable vision centers in town who would be happy to take my money and get me and my family in to the office in a reasonable amount of time.
Terrible way to do business ProMedica.
