773 Windmiller Dr C, Pickerington“Our son started in May and they are amazing! Of course, during the free class he was not feeling it. He cried and cried. They didn’t give up. They allowed us to try it again. The next class he cried for the first half and then he went in. Still very hesitant but he was in the door. From that point on, he has been very excited about coming. He has his days where he is a little more busy than others but they still are super patient with him and the other children. It is kind of pricey, but dad and I think it’s worth it considering how awesome they are with the kids and the content that he is learning. I would recommend this place to anyone!“

590 Main St, Groveport“I attended for 6 to 8 years until life took me down different paths some years ago.I can unequivocally say, If you want to learn self-defense not just as a collection of techniques; but learn the concepts and tenets of defending one's self and loved ones then this is The Place. Everything is taught from the aspect of realism. No flashy techniques that look great in a dojo and will get you killed on the street. To get a feel for what is foundational to the school's approach, the following is taught along with effective techniques:* Learning to see threats and avoid them and if necessary be the one conscious and able to call the police and quite possibly EMS if you are alone and attacked.* The ability to walk into a room and quickly see the number and location of objects that could be used as improvised weapons should you need one and how they could be employed. That's just two of many examples of teaching that illustrate the school's broad base of thought on "Self-defense". There is no sport aspect.Techniques are drawn from ju jitsu, boxing, judo, Philipino stick and knife fighting, the fighting system taught to armed forces. What is common sense and useful is taught, what is flashy or overly complicated is not.Instructors are friendly, helpful and not all puffed up with their ego.Class size is small and the atmosphere of learning often results in new friendships being formed.Price is very reasonable compared to other schools that are not nearly as thorough.“

971 N Hamilton Rd, Gahanna“I didn’t come into Darimar Martial Arts as a clean slate. I came in carrying a lot mentally, physically, stuff I don’t always talk about. And I’ll be honest… this place challenged me right away. Not in a loud, ego-driven way but in a quiet, disciplined way that forces you to look at yourself. There’s no hiding here. No shortcuts. No pretending. The Master teaches with intention. It’s not just about movements it’s about awareness, control, and who you are when things get uncomfortable. That part hit me harder than I expected. At first, it can feel intimidating especially if you’re not used to structure or you’ve got your own stuff going on. But if you stay with it, something shifts. You start to build discipline again. Confidence. Control. This hasn’t just been “training” for me. It’s been a way to reconnect with parts of myself I thought I lost. And I respect that they don’t water it down to make it easier. Because real growth isn’t easy. If you’re looking for comfort, this might not be your place. If you’re looking to actually become stronger mentally and physically it’s worth stepping into.“

6015 S Sunbury Rd, Westerville“I have been associated to this Gym for few years now. Grand Master and other instructors are one of the best in Martial arts.
Grand masters knowledge, dedication to teaching and ability to connect with students is the best. You will have to give sometime to feel that and positive changes that you would see in the students.
Learning any art is neither time bound or nor transactional. It requires hard and extra work, patience, practice on both students and teachers. If instructors are in middle of teaching a skill and would need few extra time in the class, then the class will go on for extra time for the benefit of students. K&J school enables exactly the same kind of learning.“
