“I met Dan at the home and gardens in Columbus Ohio. He came out we had a contract I changed my mind he came back out he ask me exactly what things had I changed my mind on we drew up another contract. Then we met Dennis the project manager he was friendly and helpful. The crew Dennis set up to do the roof was amazing they were friendly and worked very hard in the freezing cold weather and in the light rain with safety harness and ropes. “Let me begin by saying that Vickie and Dan at Benchmark set the standard in what a contractor should be.

This team keeps me in the loop with updates and pertinent information on my project. I never felt that I was waiting on updates or I was just “another customer” to them. The team at Benchmark make you feel like you’re their sole customer and that your problem is their problem.

I had a spigot burst in my basement “Man Cave” and it was pretty catastrophic to me. I had literally just had the whole project completed about 6 weeks prior. The project required 3 separate teams to bring my Man Cave back to life.

“The first thing I noticed was if he says he is going to do something, he does it. No shortcuts, no delays. I had contacted 4 roofers to put up ice cleats on my polymer slate porch roof. Pat did the research, found the best product and installed them. This solved my problem of snow and ice falling onto my hedge killing it. “I was a bit cautious when Gary first came by to ask about my roof and siding when he noticed the few tiles that were affected by the storm damage. However, after hearing him out I couldn't help but be impressed by his presentation that may seem older fashion to some. By old fashion, I mean presenting previous jobs he has completed on other homes and all the various certificates that he has obtained in his fancy leather binder. The best part about Gary is his previous work experience as an insurance adjuster along with the licenses to go with it. So with that in mind, this guy will go the mile to help walk you through the process (even battle) of making the claim with your home insurance and assist in each step if need be. While he did provide a wide range of options, he was not overbearing in getting most expensive options, only what each option provides in terms of their pros and cons.

As for the install itself, it couldn't have gone any smoother than it did. They are also very accommodating for particular preexisting setups. In my case I had a Ethernet line running from one side of my house to the back that runs to the basement. When they replaced the siding the installers went ahead and tucked the Ethernet line under the new siding to help cover it.

Fast forward to now, with my home insurance fumbling a bit to update the age of my roof and siding. Gary once again coming in with the clutch to help me over the phone to eventually get to an insurance rep we can actually make progress with in my policy update.

I will say though that Gary can be quite a talker once he gets going, but it is nice to see that he is passionate about the work he does for homes.
