I contacted Dan yesterday because my elderly parent's garbage disposal wasn't working and the sink was retaining water. He answered the phone right away and discussed a few things to try and troubleshoot over the phone. Unfortunately, I had tried them all to no avail. He told me he was pulling up to another job, however he would be over right after. Not only did he come within a few hours of me calling him on a Saturday, but he fixed the issue, left a tool to fix the issue should it arise again and took less than what he was going to originally charge because he didn't want to leave my dad with no money in his pocket. Called Dan about replacing a shutoff so a dishwasher could be installed. Came same day and took care of it. Liked his work and price, so I asked to to price out replacing two spigots. When he said the price I asked when he could do it. He said a couple days later. I threw a wrench at him by asking him the morning of if he could add a shutoff to the one line. He said no problem. Knocked out the work in no time. Will definitely recommend him if I am ever asked.
I am very pleased with the shot in the dark I took when I called Dan for the first time based on some of the reviews I read here. My long time, trusted, plumber has retired and I was looking for someone new to snake the kitchen drain, a recurring issue with North Olmsted homes. A few weeks ago I had a company come out and estimate it would cost over $400 for the service. I had been paying between $75 and $100 with my former guy. I politely declined. I found Dan on the internet, gave him a call and he said he'd be out the next day. He was. He was professional, personable and got the job done for under $100.
