Unfortunately we had to make an emergency visit with our sick kitten. They rushed us in despite us not being able to call in advance and promptly assessed him. When they came to us with the option that no one wants to hear, they were so professional and made us feel so comfortable knowing we were making the right decision. They gave us plenty of time with him and made sure he got plenty of snuggles and even some purrs despite him hurting. Dr. McCarty’s bedside manner was perfect and made us not feel rushed nor like we were letting him suffer. I couldn’t recommend a place more for such a hard decision. I was able to get my little rescued bearded dragon in within 2 days of calling. The entire staff was kind. Dr. Allie was able to give me advice and on how to help little Lucky. She and her assistant were both willing and able to answer all my questions. I will bring my reptiles back here for any concerns I have, and I would recommend anyone with reptiles to take them to Newark Veterinary Hospital for care and treatment.
Love these people. From the front desk to the techs and the doctors. First came to them when a neighbor cat was injured and we took her in. Animal control brought her her to get checked and to have surgery from her injuries. We have been coming her since.
Had a cat not eating. They got her in and the doctor and tech spent plenty of time with me figuring it out.
They are all so understanding even with an over anxious cat and rabbit mom.
