Hi, I should of done this months ago. My Mom Georgia Sue York passed away a little over 4 months ago and Geib Funeral Hones was the most kind and caring and patient and loving group of people we could ask for during this loss. Not only were they wonderful when my Mom and I set everything up, but especially when she passed away at my home in her apartment in my arms her Son Wayne. They came and helped me start the grieving process with kindness, patience and love. They let my other sibling and family come before they took her away and say goodbye, and made sure I was doing okay months after she was gone. I truly felt like I was apart of the Geib family, and still do to this day. I appreciate the professionalism they had/have, but also the care they take not only with those who have passed away, but those love ones that have been left behind with the loss and grieving. Thank you so very much Geib and all the employees that helped me and my mom not only with setting everything up, but when she passed away. It truly gave us both comfort and peace with all that you did to help make this part of life which is death easier to process and move forward with life with out our loved one my Mom. Thank you, Wayne York ♥️

My first experience with Geib Funeral Home was when my Grandpa Joe passed away when I was in middle school, I was not involved in the process of course, but I did know that Lois, Richard, and Rich took care of my Grandmother and Mom and made certain it was not an added stress for them. My best friend, Amy Slowikowski passed away from a car accident in 1996, to say that Amy was a beloved member of New Philadelphia is a big understatement as Amy was a star basketball player for the Central Catholic Saints and Kent State University. Her life was snuffed out far too soon and Geib's handled the hundreds of people who came to pay their respects with ease and grace. The care, support, and respect shown to the family and friends of Amy was very much appreciated. Tess's Sweet Liberty "Libby" was my 11-year-old chocolate lab. Just like everyone else's fur child, Libby was the best. One call to Anne and someone met me at the funeral home, they swooped in to gather my beloved family member, took care of her cremation, and presented us with a keepsake that we still cherish to this day, many years later. I am the youngest of 5, we were blessed with parents who loved us and loved each other. My parent's made their pre-arranged wishes with the staff at Geib Funeral Home and as we experienced each of their deaths within 10 months of each other, the staff made certain to meet with all 5 of us together so that we were comfortable and informed with the process, timeframe, and choices we needed to make. The smallest details were placed before us, and options on mementos and styles of urns to choose from were shared with us all. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Geib Funeral Home & Crematory to you and your loved ones. Their generations have cared for my generations with care, love, respect, empathy, kindness, and professionalism.

My family has been working with the Geib Family for decades and they are always on top of things. Everything that you can think to ask they already have the answer. We met with Anne for my Mom's services recently. She was over accommodating and already had things done for the most part when we all sat down. We just needed to get her a few things. The Services went off without a hitch and she was ahead of the game the whole time and with a smile on her face. She has stayed in touch with us even 3 weeks later. There are a few others that definitely need to be mentioned. George was so gentle and caring when he took Mom into his care. Alan did an excellent job in getting her ready for services. Jennifer, Jane, & Robin did an Amazing job with the service materials. And let us not forget Peeper and her comforting hugs. Jenny and Vivian were very attentive hosts at the family reception afterwards. There are not enough stars to give the Geib Family, but I'm going with the most I can give "5 Stars". I would recommend their services to everyone I talk to. Thank You Anne & the entire Geib Family. Tony Basiletti
