From start to finish, the experience has truly been worth it, and I’m so thankful to finally have a treatment plan in place.<br>For the past 4 years, I have struggled with severe head pressure and ear pain after my eardrum ruptured during air travel due to barometric pressure changes. Unfortunately, the rupture caused permanent damage and hearing loss. Since then, I have been treated by a specialist through Christ ENT, where I underwent two separate procedures for PE tube placement in the same ear.<br>Over time, the tube repeatedly became blocked, causing fluid to back up into the middle ear canal. This led to recurring sinus infections, severe headaches, pressure, and ongoing discomfort. My ENT specialist eventually suggested surgery if the tube fell out again, as he was unwilling to place a third tube.<br>After sharing my struggles with Dr. Baker, I learned that I had three pinched nerves in my neck that were contributing to the inflammation and pressure affecting the canal connected to my middle ear. I received my very first chiropractic treatment on Wednesday, 5/13/26. After following Dr. Baker’s instructions and applying heat at home, I woke up in the middle of the night with my ear finally draining — after just ONE treatment!<br>For the first time in years, I could hear better again, and the pressure in my head was relieved. The fluid was no longer backing up into my middle ear. I even followed up with my ENT specialist afterward, and he was pleased with the improvement. He agreed this no longer appeared to be strictly an ENT issue and recommended allergy testing and preventative allergy treatment to help reduce long-term sinus inflammation and infection risks.<br>I am incredibly grateful to have been introduced to Baker Chiropractic through the Wellness Shop.
