loves being with my 94 year old father. She understands some days he needs to rest and other days he is ready to go. She takes good care of him, providing both physical and emotional support. They laugh, talk and enjoy each others' company. She finds shows and music she knows he will like. Today she told me she put the Frank Sinatra station on Iheart radio and the were both singing and bopping to the music. It makes me so happy to know he has a caregiver who truly cares. We leave notes for her in a binder and she leaves notes for us telling us what they did, what he ate and drank ( he has had a problem with dehydration before she started offering a variety of liquids and keeping track of what he drinks.
