This used to be a great place and I've gone there for myself and kids for years. Now they just turn away people since they don't have the staff or equipment. Luckily the Mercy Urgent Care down the street on 48 was happy to receive a new patient.

Went in for sore throat, didn't even perform a swap to test for strep but prescribed 10 days antibiotic assuming it was strep because "everyone that came in that day had sore throat" and three weeks later still have sore throat and no confirmation whether I can rule out strep since not even a rapid test was performed. Disappointed.

Doctor William Danko, you are the most unprofessional care provider I have had in my 20 years. I received care for an abscess that needed drained on a previous injury. I have had it drained once before, and received excellent care at Atrium Medical Center. I came to Riversbend as a last resort. Upon walking into my exam room, you did NOT introduce yourself nor had any form of identification on you, just blue scrubs. I expressed that I didn't want to get the abscess drained that day and if I could just get antibiotics because it was SMALL (and i was going to go somewhere else more professional to get it drained.) You then responded to me and said "absolutely not" when I asked to not be touched and drained. You put me on the exam table with my ass out to look at my abscess that was located on my tailbone and then proceed to open the door and walk out whilst I was exposed to everyone in the room outside. You then DID IT AGAIN when you walked back in to the room. You gave me one syringe of numbing in ONE SPOT, ONE POKE. and immediately went in and cut on scar tissue that was from my previous injury to drain the cyst. I screamed, loud, because I wasnt fully numbed and wasn't informed of when the cut would be made. And you had the nerve to tell me to be quiet, and make me feel like my pain wasnt real. My partner was there through all of this, and watched you use your hands to proceed to be extremely rough with me. Pushing on my ass as if I was going to snap in half. I screamed this entire time for about 10 minutes. Because I was not numb and had only been poked once. He sent me home with antibiotics, a diflucan and NO PAIN MEDS! :) This was the worst experience I've ever had, ever. And I will probably never let another male doctor touch me again. This was MALPRACTICE.
