American Health Network has provided consistent, positive healthcare experiences over the years. Patients appreciate the knowledgeable and logical approach of providers like Doug, Dr. Schroer, and Dr. B, who are described as kind, caring, and good listeners. The staff is known for their caring bedside manner, and patients feel they are treated with respect rather than as numbers. While the clinic has changed ownership to Optum, the quality of care remains high. Some wish the hours were better, but overall, patients have had great experiences here.
I’ve been coming here for about 10-11 years a lot in the beginning and more when I need to these days but regardless I’ve only had good experiences here. I have been being seen by Doug as my medical provider and he knows medicine well it seems as he should and has a no nonsense approach that is logical and I appreciate. Great treatment approach. It changed owners to Optum and idk why the name on the internet hasn’t changed but maybe by design idk. Maybe the sign is still on the building as American Health Network. I also can say I have seen Dr B once and she was very kind. I have seen Dr Eric Schroer as well and he was great too.
My family has been seeing Doug, NP, for years now.
He's great, smart, listens, cares and has an awesome bedside manor. My husband can be a bit difficult but Doug does a great job with him!!
I just wish they had better hours.
If based on their doctors, I'd do 4 or 5 stars. I give a bad rating because you need to be careful and ask questions about lab tests that they run. I went in with a wheezing cough/sore throat and found out later they billed my insurance $450 for outside lab testing for respiratory panel tests. I ended up being asked to pay $332 of that. All I'd ask is that they check insurance coverage and communicate better to the patient on potential impacts of lab testing.
