The Pinzone company was great to work with. The company representative, Nick, visited the site and clearly explained how he would replace a failed support post in our basement. His team of Jay and assistant ‘new’ Nick did an excellent job installing a concrete footer and heavy steel post. The team hung plastic sheeting and also deployed a dust collection system of fans and HEPA filters to minimize the dust created cutting into the concrete floor and mixing fresh concrete. All rubble was taken away and the area was very clean at job completion. I would use Pinzone again.
In my garage there is a steel post installed in 2007 to support the roof, where I had solar panels installed. Over the years the base of the post has rusted due to winter salt from vehicles, and I became concerned that it might fail at the base. Pinzone Group was the only contractor that I could find that seemed to do this kind of work - I'm sure there are others, but none mentioned this kind of work. Pinzone's rep Nick came out to give a quote. He also helped with the install, along with Jay. Both guys were very personable and a pleasure to work with. We found Pinzone's name among a list of contractors recommended to us by the structural engineer who diagnosed our house with failing foundation in several walls of our basement. They were the only company on the list who provided both construction and waterproofing services, so we decided to go with them. I'm so glad we did! The crew worked very efficiently and tirelessly to make major foundation repairs and to waterproof around our whole house. Nick answered any and all questions, and was very kind and knowledgeable.
