“I had a company who came into our home to diagnosis my furnace problem. I was told I needed a gas valve and their estimate was $1,200.00.
After calling to get a price for a gas valve, I was told its $205.00. Hmm ?. That told me I was going to be charged $1,000.00 for labor for what I was told would take 1 hour. I called the company and asked for a breakdown of their charges. Didn’t get one, so I cancelled my appointment.
Luckily I was referred to Mark at A & A. He came the next day. He asked me if i really needed a new gas Valve ? I laughed, & said, so I was told???
After 30 min Mark said, you don’t need a gas valve ?. Mark made one adjustment and the furnace came back on and has been running great.
Mark charged me a service call, and I can’t tell you how happy I was to find an honest contractor.
