“I came here looking for a new dentist to have some dental work done that I had been putting off for a couple years. I have a severe needle phobia which has either prevented me from having dental work done or has resulted in me choosing to have dental work done without local anesthetic to numb the area due to my severe anxiety. My dentist was made aware of my anxieties and we discussed options to allow proper local aesthetic for my procedure as well as to address my severe anxieties.
I just had my first procedure done utilizing nitrous gas which I have not had before. The whole procedure went very well and I felt I was being checked on for my pain and worries the entire time. I am in a similar medical field and the dentist and dental assistant both talked me through different parts of the procedure which was wonderful for my particular brand of anxiety. I have a couple more appointments scheduled to complete the dental work I've been putting off for a few years and I feel so much better about going back for them. I want to give a particular shout out to James, my dental assistant for the day who was pretty awesome and was willing to hold my hand when my anxiety did spike for the local anesthetic injections. I'm so glad I found this practice!”
