I got to meet Otis, when my hot water tank decided to no longer heat water! I can not begin to say enough about him. He was very fast to respond to my message, was at my house first thing in the morning, and did everything he could to get it working. We did have to replace it but he was very fair with his pricing, cleaned up everything and had the new tank in in no time. I highly recommend calling him if you need plumbing work. He was also very polite and took the time to explain the problem and gave me the opportunity to decide what to do, there was absolutely no pressure to buy. A big thank you to Otis!!
I called another Girard company and after 4 days no return call from the other guy. Emailed ODT Tuesday evening with request and he answered that night. Set appointment for thursday, today. Otis, the owner, Arrived as expected and finished my new gas line for range by noon and at a very fair price for work performed. I will call next time I need help for sure.Years later I called Otis again,Started a bath redo and found all the Shut off valves were bad and would not shut off completely, called ODT to replace them. and set a appointment. In the days in between I statred doing the kitchen as well and the 50 yr old sink faucet valves were broken etc. Otis came on schedule...read full review
ODT Plumbing, owned and operated by Otis Thacker, provides high value, top quality, outstanding service plumbing.I've had Otis retrofit shower faucets which was not the easiest project in my opinion. I ordered the parts needed and Otis had to cut through ceramic tile to add the new faucets and corresponding plate. He had to redo the pipes which were set up for separate hot/cold faucets into a one unit operations. The end result was a perfect setup, leak free and very professional looking. Otis brought an assistant who removed and replace a kitchen faucet with corresponding sprayer. He also replaced an aging garbage disposal. Once again, professionalism with an eye for detail and excellent installation.These guys do not waste time, go on coffee breaks, they stuck to the job and met all my expectations as real professionals.About one-year later we had a nasty blockage with minor water leaking in our basement. I called Otis, who was backed up with work but agreed to come out early the next Saturday morning. I called on a Thursday so this was really accommodating and a relief.Once again, Otis fixed the problem, routed out the the street, tested all connections to ensure the problem was fixed.
