We had an amazing experience with Chuck at Dayton Dog Wizard.
Our 1.5 year old rescue (Great Pyr / Collie mix), Tuck, had a rough start in life (chained to a porch) and was both unconfident and reactive when we got him. Seeing another dog, person, or even a trash can from a distance would set him off, and it was hard to calm him down.
Chuck worked with Tuck and with us over several weeks, and the transformation has been incredible. His training style is calm, kind, and focused on play and internal motivation. My 10 month old puppy, Marcus, came to Dayton Dog Wizard on the 10 day training program. He started out a frustrated and out of control mess. Thanks to Chuck and Erin, he transformed into a well behaved and sweet companion. I couldn't have asked for a better trainer than Chuck! Learning how to communicate with Marcus has been a wonderful experience for both of us!

Stella and Gilbert are fantastic dogs but certainly have the typical stubborn Dachshund personality. Chuck did a phenomenal job of teaching them basic commands, place, reduced their tendency to bark, and overall obedience.
More importantly though they ended the training being much more calm, and we were taught tools and methods to help calm them down and work through some of the stubbornness. We appreciate their work and are very happy overall!
