After several hours of fruitless internet research trying to find a solution to a failed ceiling fan (couldn't even positively identify the manufacturer!), I called Southlite. With only the model number and description of the symptoms, the gentleman I spoke with immediately identified the brand/family and correctly diagnosed the problem - a failed remote receiver control module. He loaned me a generic non-remote control unit to verify the fan motor itself was still good (it was), and had a replacement receiver ordered and delivered within two days. THIS is the place to buy a ceiling fan. High quality brands reasonably priced, plenty of inventory, and Earl is very knowledgeable and straightforward. He very quickly helped me figure out exactly what I needed. Easy! I'm happy!

Bought a Quorum ceiling fan from Southlite Fan City over 2 months ago and the motor went bad. Tom not only gave me a new motor, but he also delivered it to my house. Their knowledge, expertise and service is fantastic.
