So when we had this guy cut his hair, I thought for sure that he was going to freak out, but he actually did pretty good and it was awesome!! He actually said he wanted to go back to him!!

“I tried getting a same day haircut at multiple places (Turner's, Mug & Brush, Moses, and Longview) before I came across Grove City Barbershop- who was able to give me 4:30pm slot. The drive was a good 25 minutes from the house, but with five yelp stars on average, I was willing to make the journey. I was just too tired of walking around with a mop on my head in this 90 degree heat. I arrived at 4:33 and was directed to my barber, Deano, at the back of the shop. He apologized, as he was still working with his earlier client, and said he would be with me shortly. A couple of minutes before 5pm, he called me over. I asked for a quick wash, as I noticed the shampoo bowls behind every barber but was told I couldn't get one. Deano said the chairs weren't set up to accommodate that and, besides, he didn't have any shampoo to do the wash. I was disappointed but I think he noticed because he said he would move the chair and bring in the shampoo the next time I booked. That would keep me happy as a client, I thought. Far too many of the pricier barbershops seem to have this problem. But, if untalented housewives at Great Clips can do it (at no extra price either), these nicer places should have no issue at all right? The cut was pleasant though. It took the full hour for head and beard, but it passed quickly and comfortably as Deano engaged me in pleasant conversation. He's talented at it because he never made me squirm with a barrage of questions about my life. Overall, I think I will be back. It was a nice experience.“
