Trying out a new hair stylist is always nerve wracking, but I am SO unbelievably happy with how my hair turned out. I was recommended April Howard through a friend and I can't explain how much I love my hair! I scheduled an appointment for a cut and eyebrow wax. My hair is quite thick, so I booked the last appointment in the day that way we wouldn't be pressed for time. In addition to being thick, my hair is textured and every hairdresser I've been to has never styled it in a way that suits it. It usually ends up poofy or doesn't frame my face quite right. This is a really cool place. If you haven't been, basically hairstylists rent a room and have their own mini salon. It's really cool to walk around the building and see all the different stylists and their unique salons. There's plenty of parking, and the building is very clean. They have seating in the hallways so you can wait for your appointment. My stylist is Emily Fisher, and she is incredible! She has such great attention to detail and is very knowledgeable about different products and services. At some point I am going to see what other small business owners are in the building. I only go to Sola Salon Studio #1, to see Kassy Ross. She’s absolutely amazing at her craft, and I’ve been going to her for almost 20 years! I’ve also recommended her to my entire family and some friends. She’s the best! And the studio is always well maintained, clean, and amazing.
