Wonderful experience at Hoffman Dental. I felt apprehensive after my long-time dentist retired--this was my first visit with Dr. Cheryl Hoffman, she made me feel so at ease, answered all my questions and helped come up with a treatment plan. Entire office staff was amazing!
*4-21-26 - Follow up- Dental office visit today with Cortney, Dental Hygienist, for deep cleaning on a few teeth- she was so wonderful, took the.time to thoroughly explain the procedure, reason for it, and even provided suggestions on follow-up care that I could do at home. Cortney was awesome, thank you! 😊
Dental trauma is real. For years, I’ve avoided walking into a dental office unless I was in excruciating pain and had no other choice. The stress of it all has prevented me from scheduling dental appointments, but let me tell you why.
I know some folks are thinking, "Why not just go twice a year and avoid all the extensive work?" To that, I say—listen, I tried. But childhood trauma is a beast. As a kid, I told the dentist I could feel the drill, and he flat-out ignored me. And it didn’t just happen once. As an adult, it’s happened three more times. The last time was a few years ago, and after that, I was done. No more. That is…until February 26, 2025.
