visiting in the Hospice area was made easy, and the corrections staff and medical staff ran it just as a non incarcerated Hospice area. my special thanks to Pat in the Warden's Office. She was very understanding of travel times and the inmates condition. Folks you are doing this right!
I had a visit with my uncle, who's in hospice care now, and I really didn't know what to expect but I'm happy to say everyone was very kind and helpful. From Pat, who arranged my visit, to the officer at the main desk who finally got me through that metal detector, to my escort who actually was from my neck of the woods and to the nurse I spoke with. I didn't catch everyone's name but I certainly appreciated all their kindness and smiles.
