My husband broke his leg in January, and we were told to get in home therapy for him. I made several calls to several different rehab therapy’s, with the same answer, we can’t come to you! (that was because of our insurance or they didn’t have enough therapists) Rachel Botkin was the first to reach back with good news. She said we will make it work! And she did! She sent out Danielle who really challenged my husband with exercises he could do under his restrictions. To see him lift his leg within a week of the first visit was very hopeful to us. The score of 5 stars for the initial visit from Botkin Rehab Services is given to Botkin Rehab Home Services for several reasons:
1st. Rachel gave a very thorough evaluation of John’s current needs for wheelchair replacement. She asked to have an assessment with needs for his current physical abilities ; his future needs & goals; while giving attention to his behavioral skills & desires to achieve improvement in Quality of Life abilities.
2. There was also helpful instruction & advice given to John’s staff so that future rehab skills can be supported in the home between PT visits.
