Was looking for a new place for a haircut. Been having bad luck with bad haircuts in the past. I'm glad I happened upon Mayfield Village Barbershop. I called to make an appointment - the pleasant lady on the line helped me but I somehow got my dates confused and ended up showing up an entire 24 hours late for my appointment. Since I had clearly missed my appointment they were able to accommodate me. Although the lady who I was meant to see was finishing a fine looking job and having a nice discussion, another customer was next in line with her. Thankfully Terry was immediately available. I wasn't particular about who I got a haircut from since I was still feeling the place out. Terry was very attentive to the cut I was after and was meticulous. She's clearly very experienced. We had a nice discussion and finished with a hot lather razor cut to clean up. Next time I'll make sure to get an appointment and treat myself to a beard trim or perhaps a straight razor shave.

I've been coming to Mayfield Village Barber Shop for over 20 years, since I was a little kid. After Joe retired during Covid I started seeing Terry, and she's the best. She gives a great haircut and we always have great conversations. It's always a great experience and I can't see myself going anywhere else anytime soon.

Al is cool but there is no way to book besides calling . I work 5 days a week 14 hours a day so I only have weekends and it sucks when you try to get a a cut on a Saturday he’s booked antil Monday . Time for a new barber, :(

Place is the best. Take my 4 year old frequently Rasa is great with him. If I wasn’t bald, I’d be getting cuts myself. Great place.

If you have a beard, AL is the absolute BEST. He is so meticulous, takes such care to make sure the beard looks absolutely perfect, someone who really takes pride in his work! He does great haircuts too, is super friendly and personable. You will not be disappointed.

So first of all this was my first time going to a real barber, I made appointment . And when I got there they said she was sick so Al cut my hair, I showed him a picture of what I wanted told him what I like told him I like my eyebrows trimmed he did it exactly how the picture was exactly what I wanted. He was funny. We had a lot in common and he earned himself a new customer. What a great place to get a haircut, I highly recommend Mayfield barber shop

Small town barbers are something to be treasured and Mayfield Village Barber Shop is such a place. Albert has been excellent every time and the cuts have been top notch.
