Do NOT get your cataracts removed under any circumstances! --unless you have no other choice. Having my cataracts removed was the worst decision of my life! Cataract surgery requires an artificial lens to be inserted, replacing the faulty lens that's removed. In my case, the artificial lens was inserted incorrectly and I was supposed to return for additional surgery to have it fixed. Unfortunately, because no one followed up with me initially, I missed the cut-off date for timely surgery so I had to have the faulty lens fixed via laser. This was my first visit to this practice but everything went very smoothly. Registration was quick and I was taken back for my appoint a few minutes ahead of schedule. My previous records had already been entered into their records and reviewed. The exam was thorough and all my various staff interactions were pleasant. I will happily return in one year for my next exam.
I've always had great service at Fairview Eye Center in the more-than-10 years I've been a patient there. The doctors are knowledgeable and the support staff welcoming and professional.
