Today my daughter had a procedure at Cleveland Eye Clinic with Dr. Pierre, and I can’t even put into words how grateful I am for the way he and his team cared for her. Walking into a medical procedure with your child is nerve wracking no matter the severity of it, but from the moment we stepped through the door, every single nurse and staff member made us feel safe and supported. Dr. Pierre was patient, gentle, and incredibly kind not just to my daughter, but to me as a worried mom. He explained every step and treated her like she was his only patient that day. Watching your child be cared for by people who truly see them as more than just a case is something you never forget. I am beyond thankful for their compassion, professionalism, and skill. Cleveland Eye Clinic and Dr. Pierre will forever have my highest recommendation! Thank you to everyone who recommended him!

I just experienced a really terrible experience with doctor Rachel Davis, and my only recourse is to make this statement. I'm am beyond frustrated with this doctor. I realize she is new to the Cleveland Eye Clinic, but she has a long way to go before she is "Clinic Ready". I can assure you I would never speak to a patient in the way I was spoken to, unless I was looking to get fired. Maybe she has not attended the Cleveland Eye Clinic Experience yet? This is my experience, a very bad one with Dr. Rachel Davis at Cleveland Eye Clinic and her staff. On December 8th, 2023, I had surgery on the lower eyelids/ENTROPION. During the operation, I woke up with maximum anxiety, seeing the syringe in front of my eyes, the smell of burnt meat, a lot of talk, and laughter. I panicked and started screaming to fall asleep again. They put me to sleep the 2nd time again. It was a terrible experience that I went through. I wonder if I had a cardiac arrest or panic attack, what would have happened. I have 7 active operations and over 30 colonoscopies, but I have never experienced the fear and panic of eye surgery. After the 2nd follow-up with Dr. Davis, I mentioned that I don't feel well, and I described the symptoms, seeing that something is growing in the corner of my right eye. Doctor Davis said to be patient, but after 3 weeks the situation worsened, I called and made 2 appointments: one with one of the ophthalmologists who said he saw an eyelash in the corner of the eye, but he did nothing, he said . that's Dr. Davis's job. After 2 days, I saw Dr. Davis and she said I had a cyst, she took it out, sewed me up again, but not as tight as after the operation. Even now, I don't feel well after the 2nd intervention. Another unpleasantness was when I took my jacket and bag to leave, the jacket tasted stained with something that I couldn't say exactly. I also showed the doctor and the nurse, but they shrugged their shoulders, I didn't receive any apology or opinion, I was accused of being naughty and rude, why because I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and because they - I showed the stained jacket. Today, Dr. Davis was very aggressive with me, raised her voice, and even shouted... and that's when my anxiety started again. It is not ok for the doctor or any of the staff to aggravate the patient's condition. Her attitude and behavior as a doctor leave a lot to be desired. They are there in the offices for all kinds of patients with different physical and mental illnesses. They must have professional behavior and especially try to understand the patient and talk to them in a friendly manner. Unfortunately, I can not say that Dr. Davis is a good doctor/surgeon. On the contrary, I would not recommend her to anyone. I asked to speak with someone from the higher level for a complaint to bring to the knowledge of this type of patient treatment in their office. I felt disrespected, treated unprofessionally, plus I left with discomfort in my right eye and a stained/ruined jacket. Maybe they should have some cameras to see the behavior not only patients, but also to their DOCTORS AND STAFF. It is very important that the opinion and experience of the patients be taken seriously and resolved. Reviews are very useful in the future for potential patients.
