Abstract-A Hair Salon

I went for a haircut with Cindy and she was busy, so I got the junior hairstylist, Lizzie. Haircut was fine. I had just gone for a trim. I also asked for an eyebrow wax. I didn't notice it then but when I came home my eyebrows looked so messed up and misshapen. I'm worried how long it will take to get it back to normal. And I was charged an abnormal $20 just for my eyebrows!. I thought this was a reasonably priced place. Won't be going backServices: Eyebrow shaping

I used to go to Today’s Headlines back in the day. I didn’t realize that Cindy was still there and the owner. I haven’t had a great highlight, cut and style compared to Today’s Headlines in years. I recently moved to the greater Cleveland area, and I was prepared to have to go to multiple salons before finding my perfect stylist. I'm happy to say that I found her! Nicole at Abstract-A Hair Salon is absolutely wonderful. She's very experienced with cutting and styling thicker hair, and I've received so many compliments after my last haircut. Make an appointment with Nicole, you won't regret it!!

Three stars to represent a neutral response. I've emailed for an appointment, and I'm waiting on a resply. I have heard good things about this salon. I'll update my response if I end up utilizing their services.

I have been a client of this salon and Cindy Jahn for many years and there is absolutely no one as skilled or knowledgeable about hair as Cindy. I highly recommend Abstract. Cindy is an artist and is so precise in her cuts and color.

Cindy, Jordan and Lizzie were the best! My mother was in town for surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and they squeezed her in just before closing. My mother was thrilled with her cut and style and can now have a simple and easy look that works with the physical limitations after open heart surgery during healing. They also worked with her to donate the length removed for cancer patient wigs. Awesome people, awesome place.

I liked Abstract A. I saw Jordan, and she was very personable. I didn't want a complicated trim, and she delivered. Bonus points for calling me to let me know that the client ahead of me was running far over time and that I should wait to come in - the space is small, so I wouldn't have wanted to wait there, and I was able to work at home until my appt. The price is the best I've seen in Cleveland and they give student discounts, which, in addition to client pics online and a good location, is what primarily drew me here. However, I do recommend double checking with your stylist about how much you will owe -- I went in thinking the price would be the same as online, but was charged more, so even though it's not very expensive, I would recommend double-checking. I got a very standard trim, and Jordan did a great job taking off all of my dead ends. I perhaps might have liked more layering than what she did, but she respected that I wanted to be able to pull all of my hair back into a ponytail, which was still very much possible. The main downside was that she waited far too long to straighten my bangs, so by the time she wanted to do them, they had already dried in a super weird way and needed to be re-wetted and re-dried before she could trim them. I told her this was going to happen, since I have super thin hair, but I don't think she believed me. But overall, I got a really nice cut, and will likely be coming back.
