I wanted to believe recruiting agencies were job advocates. But, I appreciate those who are able to see and respect, its more a numbers game. I used to do my best to express value and prepare ahead for upcoming interviews. I'd spend a decent amount of time practicing and writing positive answers - trying to sell myself. Then, someone at Robert Half taught me an important lesson.I performed rather well in my first interview and was asked to come back for a second interview in a week. The second interview was the same person following a script asking me the exact same questions over again! Great jobs but the administration could be due for a makeover. Doesn't make you feel valued as an employee. You can reach out but no one's calls you back not even to acknowledge that they have received confirmation of your willingness to work.
