My Fiancé Chuck & I hired Mike to install countertops in our home. After picking out the material & giving Mike our deposit, we were met with countless lies on why our countertops were not being installed. We asked for a full return of our deposit and never received it. Once it was clear he was not going to return our deposit we contacted our attorney. From there we discovered My Granite Designs LLC is not registered to do business with any appropriate secretary of state & he committed these same fraudulent practices in the past- which he was found guilty by the Ohio Attorney General in 2014. We are currently pursing Mike in Small Claims Court.

Mike was quick to give a price, take measurements, and take a deposit. He told us the entire process was going to take less than 10 days. After 2 weeks we questioned him. He said he couldn’t find product. Another week went by and he put me on a 3 way call with the supplier. The supplier said the counters had been available for over a week. He then gave me an installation date a week later. He cancelled last minute that day and pushed it back 2 days. I went to his so called shop to verify materials were there and being fabricated. I met Mike Combs @ Tristate stone and picked out countertop material on Oct 20, Made final selection on Oct 26 and paid a deposit. At that time i was told two weeks to fab and install, he pushed that back several times, said he picked up the material and blamed the delay on equipment issues.I called Tristate stone to confirm the material was picked up... Come to find out it was not. long story short, delay after delay, lie after lie, i asked for my deposit to be returned. It’s now been 3months past and i haven't been refunded. My attorney is now handling this situation, I urge anyone that is a victim of theft by Mike Combs to contact the Ohio attorney general.
