We have been with HomeHelpers for a few years now. I really appreciate that if someone calls off they can usually find a person to come in and fill the position. Over the years, we have had some amazing caregivers that are like family and we trust completely, which is really hard to find these days. Beth and Elizabeth help us in scheduling and billing. They have been great to have help us navigate the VA and private pay.
I was a caregiver for 10 years and I loved all my clients. I treat people how I want to be treated, well I had a client with dementia. I hate dementia!!!!!!!. He is such a nice person, I kept him intertainded, I danced with him, we both love music. I danced, I sang, I kept him involved. I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek and called him Uncle I was fired for inappropriate behavior. I HATE DEMENTIA!!!. I WAS TREATING THEM THe way I want to be treated.
