Excellent cut and beard trim from Dennis Alexander (new owner of the spot) this morning. I’ve been going to these guys as long as I’ve lived in Cincinnati. Even now as I’ve moved out to the suburbs, would not imagine going anywhere else for a haircut.

Stopped in and met the new owner, Dennis, who took over in January. Didn’t know Gil’s had changed hands, but it’s in good hands.
I was in and out in 30 minutes for $25 with a quality cut, hot lather shave at the end and a good chat. Love having this spot in the neighborhood and had a great experience today!

Always a pleasure to stop by here! Dennis and Rodger are always fantastic, the customers are always pleasant, and the shop is always a fun place! My fiancé had been going to them since he was a kid and they were next to Everybody's Records, so when our son needed to get his hair cut, that's the first place we thought of. They always make sure everyone leaves happy, and the things in the shop are fun for everybody to look at. We live on the West Side now and still drive over to get their hair cut! Cannot recommend them enough!
